It all started when...
I was an enlisted man serving in the US Army at Ft. Bragg , N. Carolina from May of 1971 to January of 1973 during what were to be the final days of the Viet - Nam War.
It was during this time that I got my first exposure to Gay & Trans-Gender military personnel, both male & female.
I saw them as different but didn't look at them as unfit to serve or feel any less trusting of them as soldiers who would possibly be in a Combat situation if we were called.
In years to come I met more LGBTQ individuals & my feelings haven't changed.
After getting into the Entertainment Business in 2008 I became connected with many more artists that are part of the LGBTQ Community or supportive of it & when I became actively involved in Politics during the 2013 Mayoral Campaign in the City of Cleveland , Oh. I became involved with many Local individuals & organizations as well as the Human Rights Campaign
Now that President Trump has re-instated the U.S. Military ban on Transgender individuals we need to act .
